Terry is a member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma and spent the first 8 years of his career in the Indian Health Service. From there he went to Harvard Pilgrim Health care in Boston where he managed 7 large group practices as well as the optical program. He returned to Denver in 1995 to run the VA hospitals in the Rocky Mountain area. While serving in leadership positions, Terry has always practiced dentistry 1 to 2 days per week. In fact, he practiced dentistry in Cherry Creek with his brother Don for nearly 10 years. Since 2006, Terry has served as the Associate Dean for Clinic Operations at the School of Dental Medicine and as a faculty member in the American Indian Alaska Native Programs in the School of Medicine. He practices one day per week in the Faculty Practice.
Terry is an experienced dentist and performs all aspects of restorative dentistry and endodontics (root canals). He is especially interested in the use of implants to replace lost teeth. |

Dr. Walker grew up in the southwestern part of Germany where she completed High School. Her family then moved to the United States, where she attended college. After that she obtained her DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Having completed an externship at the University of Colorado during her dental education, Dr. Walker decided to move to Denver for General Practice Residency Program after graduating from dental school. She completed her GPR at the University of Colorado Sands House clinic. Dr. Walker stayed with the University afterwards as a clinical track faculty member. She teaches one day a week and spends 4 days at our Faculty Practice seeing patients and fulfilling her administrative duties as Director of the practice. |
